Analytical chemist for Admescope Sweden AB

Admescope Sweden AB, which is part of Admescope Ltd, an ADME-Tox CRO, is seeking a highly motivated and talented analytical chemist, preferrably with skills in biotransformation research or bioanalytical field, to provide support for drug discovery and development programs.

The position comprises mainly of developing of LC/MS methods and performing quantitative and qualitative analyses, interpreting and presenting data to team and writing reports, and to some extent hands-on lab-based activities.

Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or similar
- Hands-on experience in handling and preparing biological matrices for LC/MS analysis
- Hands-on operation and troubleshooting experience of LC/MS instruments and use of LC/MS techniques to support in vitro and in vivo studies in drug discovery and development
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative drug analysis

Other qualifications of interest

- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in using high resolution mass spectrometry in structural elucidation applications
- Communication skills and ability to translate data into information at internal/external meetings
- Writing skills to prepare reports/manuscript for publication

Responsibilities

- Develop methods for the analysis of drugs and their metabolites
- Analyse samples from various biological sources by LC/MS
- Interpret data and meet guidelines on documentation processes
- Report scientific results
- Work collaboratively
- Validate methods and equipment
- Liaise with customers, staff and suppliers
