High-Throughput CYP inhibition screening

Admescope has adapted the CYP inhibition assay to HTS format using liquid handling robotics. Inhibscreen is a very robust N-in-one assay using comprehensive cocktail of registered drugs as substrates to screen inhibition towards the major drug metabolizing CYP enzymes; 1A2, 2C9, 2C19, 2D6 and 3A4, in human liver microsomes. The assay is also validated for CYP2A6, CYP2B6, CYP2C8 and CYP2E1.

The cocktail assay delivers data well comparable to an assay optimized for a single enzyme only. Furthermore, the assay can be extended to deliver IC50 values for the selected compounds. For both options LC/MS/MS is used as an analytical tool. Contact us for more information.
