As a response to increased demand for drug metabolism services, we installed a second Q Exactive™ mass spectrometer with Waters Acquity UPLC. This is a great addition to other high-resolution mass spectrometers we have from ThermoFisher Scientific and Waters.

Q-Exactive™ Orbitrap is a perfect tool for metabolite profiling and identification workflows, and due to its excellent dynamic range and spectacular sensitivity and specificity also well suitable for quantitative bioanalysis.

High resolution Orbitrap and Q-TOF-MS mass spectrometers bring unbeatable value for metabolism studies. In addition, there is a growing trend of using high-resolution mass spectrometers in quantitative PK-bioanalysis; as one run only is enough to generate all the data. Later on we can go back and re-process the existing data to elucidate metabolite structures and metabolite profiles, no need for new labwork or analyses!
