Characterisation of antibody-drug conjugates

Posted on February 2, 2021

We are happy to continue updating you about the developments in our service portfolio for Biologics! In addition to the existing services for characterising protein based drugs, we can support your biologics projects by characterising properties of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and their metabolites.

Drug to antibody ratio (DAR) can be determined by analysing the intact antibody with HR-LC/MS to reveal the number of small molecules linked to the antibody. Prior analysis, the antibody is typically deglycosylated. Furthermore, it is essential to consider how the payload is released from the ADC and the metabolite profile should be characterised. Also, rodent PK studies with ADCs can be carried out at our AAALAC accredited animal unit.

New team members

Dr. Alicia Jurado Acosta and Dr. Rathna Durga Ramasubramanian have started as research scientists. These two ladies bring in both academic and industrial experience in molecular biology and medicinal chemistry. We are happy to welcome the new people onboard!
