Admescope increases capacity and capability in high-quality service production through new investments

Posted on September 22, 2022

As summer draws to a close, the Admescope team has been gearing up for a busy fall, installing new analytical equipment, and expanding and finalizing new laboratory spaces.

In vivo DMPK service production capacity has been doubled to meet ever-growing demand. This also supports further research and development for broadening our in vivo DMPK service portfolio. Click to see more of our available in vivo DMPK services.

Our scientists are always keeping up with the latest advances; in addition to the existing high-quality analytical tools already available in our laboratories, we now have the most sensitive triple quadrupole mass spectrometer on the market, the Waters Xevo TQ-Absolute. Moreover, to increase high resolution mass spectrometry capacity, we invested in a Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Exploris 120 MS. The Q-Exactive instruments have been our core analytical equipment for in vitro metabolism work, and we are delighted to continue with this evolution. These new MS-instruments are coupled with an Acquity Premier UPLC System, which, with its inert surface coating, has become our new benchmark in liquid chromatography.

These two new instruments represent a leap towards greener values with a simultaneous focus on cutting-edge equipment performance, two values incredibly important to Admescope.

Admescope presenting at the Peptide and Oligonucleotide ADME workshop 2022 (POW2022)

Dr Ari Tolonen, CSO will be giving a talk on “Comparison of hepatic and extrahepatic in vitro models for peptide metabolism identification” at the POW2022 workshop on October 2, prior to the DMDG Joint meeting on October 3−5 in Amsterdam. Ari will also be presenting recent developments to be utilized in drug metabolism research at the poster session and if you’re attending the DMDG meeting, make sure to chat with us.
