New Year greetings!
31 January 2017
Such a successful 2016 was filled with service launches, installation of new analytical instrumentation and welcoming new employees, enabling us to continue the annual growth.
The year was started with launching new services to study transporter-mediated drug-drug interactions. Uptakesubst and Uptakeinhib services cover all 8 uptake transporters, which are recommended to be investigated by regulatory authorities. Also the services for reactive metabolites and skin metabolism were further strengthened and supported with high-quality research articles and poster presentations. The new analytical instrumentation was installed and many new team members hired to facilitate the growth.
In the fall Admescope opened an own animal facility housing mice and rats, enabling us to deliver complete DMPK service packages fully in-house. Since the launch of the new in vivo laboratory there has been an increased demand for in vivo services! We are highly emphasizing the animal welfare and 3R ideology and in December microsampling became available as a sample collection technique, significantly reducing the number of mice needed per study.
In addition to service related development, we also launched the blog and released new drug metabolism video. Soon we will publish our first ADME-Tox e-books!
We have high expectations for the year 2017. At the very moment we are building a new laboratory to facilitate more studies, and hiring new personnel! We know there is a lot of work to be done to make the year even better than the last one, but we are ready for the challenge and right now the future looks bright! We wish you all the best for the New Year 2017!
